Tiari has a Bachelor of Law and a Bachelor of Commerce in Accounting and Taxation.  He has had experience in tax advisory in a big four firm.  He now specialises in the provision of personal and legal services for individuals and families.

Tiari has returned to Palmerston North where he grew up, having attended Palmerston North Boys High School.
